The Inaugral Hopewell Valley 5K, the "Bunny Hop" took place in April 2023. This race was founded by the Hopewell Valley Central High School PTO as a way to raise funds to support the Class of 2024 and to bring our community together for a wonderful day of running/walking. The Inaugral Hopewell Valley 5K, the "Bunny Hop" took place in April 2023. This race was founded by the Hopewell Valley Central High School PTO as a way to raise funds to support the Class of 2024 and to bring our community together for a wonderful day of running/walking. The event successfully brought together over 250 members of our community. Building on the success of the first event, we have decided to establish an annual tradition in our community. Each year the HV5K will focus on raising funds to support the current Juniors at CHS with that class having the opportunity to create the theme for the race. The funds raised from this event are used to fund senior year activities that will support our students in various ways including organizing a large-scale event known as Post Prom. This memorable evening provides an alcohol and drug free alternative for all CHS students and their guests following the senior prom. Post Prom continues to be highly anticipated, well attended, and thoroughly enjoyed by our seniors! The parent volunteers also plan several other senior year events, including, Senior Sunrise, Senior Sunset and various senior week activities.
